Booking an experience
How do I book an experience? +
Open the app or website, choose an experience, confirm your place, then attend.
Can I come alone? +
Yes. Most people do.
Do I need an account? +
Yes, a quick phone-verified account so we can confirm your booking and contact you about the event.
Trust and safety
Who's in my group? +
Curated small groups (typically 6–10), matched on interests and vibe. We verify accounts.
Is my contact info shared with other guests? +
No. We share first names only at the event.
What if I have an issue at an event? +
Contact us in-app or via the "…" menu. We respond fast.
Tickets, pricing and payment
How much do experiences cost? +
Prices vary per event and tier; the full price is shown before you pay. Most experiences sit in the £15–£40 range.
What's included in the price? +
Curation, group matching, venue coordination, and any inclusions listed on the event (e.g. welcome drink, activity fee). Anything extra is called out on the event page.
How do I pay? +
Securely via card at checkout. You're charged immediately to confirm your spot, and we email you a receipt.
Cancellations, refunds and no-shows
Can I get a refund if I cancel? +
Yes. Full refund if you cancel more than 48 hours before the event start time.
What if I cancel within 48 hours? +
A £10 late-cancellation fee applies. The rest is refunded.
What happens if I don't show up? +
No-shows aren't refunded and may affect future bookings. We cap repeat no-shows to keep groups reliable.
What if Agora cancels the event? +
Full refund, no fee.
How do I cancel? +
From the event in the app or website. One tap, no email needed.
Group and event details
When do I find out who's coming and exactly where? +
Details unlock progressively: the venue area first, then the exact venue and group info closer to the event, with the full reveal in the final hours. This protects guest privacy and lets us finalise the group.
Why is some info hidden until later? +
To keep groups balanced and prevent vetting or swapping out attendees. Everyone gets the same info at the same time.
What if the event doesn't fill up? +
If we can't run it, you get a full refund automatically.

Why Agora was created
We live through screens. Dating apps leave us second-guessing. Social media shows us fun, but not where to find it. We crave belonging. A place to feel seen. A place to feel at home.
For Sahil, the idea began when someone asked, "Who's your closest friend?" He had no answer. After moving from the US to London, he felt alone. He started speaking to over 1,000 people and hosting events to understand what truly brings people together. Agora was born from that journey.
